Lexi made Love Happen

Doesn’t the pen friends story sound filmy? Yeah, it sure does. But films are undoubtedly a reflection of reality and the society. When Arianne sat besides her marriage pyre and looked at Aman who held her hand like never before. After much opposition from the two families and communities, the day had finally arrived when they were going to tie the nupital knot.

They smiled at each other looking back at that decade full of their fairy tale love-story, the pen friends becoming life partners and the chapters that they were going to add to their story. Arianne remembered the rainy day when she got a letter from Aman, proposing to her and asking her to wait just till his parents came to Arianne’s mom and asked for her hand for marriage.

She remembered how the water proof ink of Lexi pens kept intact the most important message of her life. During her days of dating on paper with her pen friend, Arianne had written hundreds or probably thousands of letters spilling her heartfelt feelings on the paper through the semi gel ink of the Lexi 5n.

Lexi Pens Enhance the Shine in my Handwriting

Shapes of alphabets
As I look back through my school years, I realise how our teachers and parents gave a lot of importance to writing, mainly cursive writing. It took months or rather years for us to understand and learn the shapes of the alphabets. More difficult part was to get the hang of connecting these shapes in lower cases and balancing them on the four lines.
Eventually, when people tell me today, that you have a beautiful handwriting, I always look back to the years of training, practice and hardwork that my mom and I did, to get a hang on this writing. The flow and semi gel ink of the Lexi pens enhance the shine in my handwriting.

Our Own Indian Pen

No matter how much we appreciate the tech-savvy western world and how intently we follow their cool lifestyle, somewhere down the line a patriotic heart goes out for the homegrown brands and the people who have made it big in the world.

A patriotic Indian is always proud of the homegrown products, business and men. Be it JRD Tata, Dhirubhai Ambani or Sunil Bharti Mittal, they all make us feel proud of being an Indian. These names are big and renowned and have grown in the times of less or no independence, lesser access to the outside world and probably, in times of lesser competition.

A pen is mightier than a sword

Once, I reached the devastated place of Malin in Maharashtra, where landslide had wiped off a village, a civilization of about 350 people. I couldn’t write with much pressure, as I saw people being drawn out of heaps of rubble and devastated houses. The torn hopes and disappointed faces were staring at all of us, strangers. My energy was draining out and my hand was still holding a pen moving on the paper. That day I realised how much a pen helps a journalist. We can compromise on many things, but our pen is the only thing that stays with us for the longest period. We journalists are actually very choosy about which pen we use, because it’s for daily use and it should be utmost comfortable.
